We have been in business since 1990 and over the period of
thirteen (13) years we have gained wide range of experience in the
different fields of professional building
maintenance. Furthermore, in our effort to always strive for service
excellence we have developed our own unique Standard Operating
Procedure, which has proven effective for so many years in
consistently meeting our clients’ unique needs.
The procedure that we perfected is geared towards having
well-trained and well-motivated employees so that we can provide our
clients with the Highest Quality of service that they deserve.
Accordingly, we had discovered that by simultaneously
implementing the following programs listed below we can achieve our
goal for a competitive rate:
TOP
The building maintenance business is competitive and has marginal profit.
On that account, we should maintain our labor and materials costs to a reasonable
amount to be competitive in the market place.
It is our belief that we can increase our production rate without jeopardizing
the quality of our service by properly training our employees. With that in mind,
we rely heavily on keeping our employees well informed on any new cleaning products,
equipment, and techniques to perform their given tasks efficiently.
Furthermore, we are educating our field supervisors on how to effectively manage
their respective subordinates so that they will realize their full potential, thus, increase productivity.
TOP
We advocate the idea of empowering our employees; we consider
the same as a powerful management philosophy. However, we don’t solely depend on this business practice
but we closely monitor the performance of our employees by means of
the following programs:
·
Daily Checklist
– we find that this is effective in making sure that their
respective areas of responsibility are being attended to regularly.
Please note that we tailored this form according to the
set-up of each facility, therefore, each account has its own unique
form.
·
Monthly Quality
Control Inspection – we regularly conduct Quality Control
Inspection on our work. We
encourage our clients to have their representative join our
employees in conducting the inspection so that if there are any
areas of concern it can be rectified immediately.
·
Quarterly Survey – on a quarterly basis, we survey our clients to get
their feedback on our overall performance and to get some ideas on
how we can better serve them.
TOP
The idea of keeping a well-motivated work force is a sound
business practice to increase production rate.
Unfortunately, there are some companies that are adamantly
opposing to implement a program that will do just that.
They think that this is just unnecessary expense and it will
greatly affect their profits.
We at Ultimate Professional Building Maintenance are a
proponent of reward systems. It
is our opinion that “Happy people are Productive people”; we
consider this as a major part of our operations because it helps
increase production rates and lowers employee turn-over rate.
In so doing, we have different kinds of incentive programs in
placed as stated below:
·
Quarterly
Performance Evaluation – we analyze our employees’
performance by comparing results of our Monthly Quality Control
Inspection and Quarterly Performance Survey from our clients.
And when we get positive results, we reward our employees
commensurate to their efforts.
·
Award
Recognition – on a periodic basis, we hand out awards to our
employees exemplary performance.
This makes them feel that their performance will not go
unnoticed and they will keep-up the good work.
·
Employee
Relation Activities – in our effort to keep our employees’
high morale, we have some activities for special occasions such as:
Christmas Party, Summer Picnic, Thanksgiving Baskets, Birthday
Greetings, etc.
